How long does a Beauty Report take?
A Beauty Report typically takes 30 to 90 seconds to generate after you upload your selfie. The total flow (upload, brief questionnaire, payment, generation, delivery) takes about three minutes from start to finish. You get a download link and an email copy.
The generation step itself runs as a single OpenAI API call against a vision-capable model. The model reads your selfie, scores the six sub-areas (symmetry, proportions, bone structure, skin, eye area, smile), writes the corresponding paragraphs, and returns the full Beauty Report.
The total flow is structured to be fast. After the upload and a brief context questionnaire (age range, primary goal), payment runs through Stripe Checkout for the one-time $4.99 charge. You return to the result page, which polls Firestore until the report is ready, then opens the full editorial card with download and email options.
If the generation takes longer than 90 seconds (rare, usually a load spike), the page keeps polling and the report arrives by email when ready. You are never charged a credit for a failed generation.
